My name is Cheryll Jones, former news anchor at CNN.

I have a news alert I think you, as a member of fourth estate in these very troubled times, will appreciate.

Think of it as a “heads up” on what might become one of the most important stories of the coming months.

At 9:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at the National Press Club in Washington DC, The Enterprise Mission – a private research and public policy group – will hold a press briefing in the NPC Zenger Room.

The subject: Why is NASA Determined to Launch Space Shuttle “Discovery” October 23rd, Despite NASA Engineering and Safety Center Warnings NOT to Launch?

Has NASA Learned NOTHING from the Previous Schedule-Driven Disasters of Challenger and Columbia?

Are Classified NASA Lunar Findings Secretly Pressuring the Aging Shuttle Program to Completion by 2010, to Make Way for “Constellation” -- and the New “Space Race” to the Moon?

I guess they need to come out with the information in a way that will actually get out to the public and members of congress who have been kept in the dark, (i.e. the national press club in D.C.). If they told a news agencey, they'd probably get laughed at.

Looks like there is another conference on nov 4th at LA's airport hilton.

I'll post the summary of that conference here since it is probably related to information that they will be revealing on Oct 30th:

This is a classic Marketing Ploy. I know, I own a Marketing Company and these types of deceptive practices I decided to never use years ago. I opted for honesty and I'll never get rich but I can sleep at night.

Here is how it usually works. Either an ad like this on the website or in a Major Newspaper. Make it sound official and rent a room in a building that adds to its legitimacy, like the one they chose or many times in a Conference Room in a 5 Star Hotel. (As a side-note - I once rented an office in a State Government Office Building complete with a State Receptionists answering my calls and it took two days to pull it off.)

After a 90 minute sales pitch complete with slide shows or graphics, everyone will be made aware of the piles of books on the back table at FULL RETAIL. Usually the info is on a Tape or DVD as well for the too lazy to read crowd. Their money spends too. (90 minutes is a magic number. Any less the crowd feels cheated. Any more they get fidgety and grouchy in my opinion)

Get rich quick schemes use this tactic all the time. What they don't tell you is only they get rich selling over priced worthless book full of pretty sounding meaningless words.

It is very legal but people should be wary. They also get the publicity for their Book for free because the audience ends up paying for it. If you are entertained by it you loose nothing but your time. Don't trust the information being presented though. My guess is a bunch of low quality photo's from which nothing can be determined to be truth or fiction. Thereby leaving them safe from legal hassles.

If they actually had the Smoking Gun they would be selling it to a good Publisher or Producer for millions instead of doing the marketing this way.
