Now that Russia is warning JR about overtaking IRAN now Bush has reopened the cold war, this is round 2. Russia now is an enemy of the U.S.

Do you have any news sources or anything to back this up? Can you be sure that tensions now are equal too or greater than tensions during the cold war?

Do you have any opinion on the matter? Certainly you must feel something deeper, or you would not have posted something that is already a popular idea on ATS.

Last week Putin met with Iran leader to join. Russia, Iran and China have already signed an agreement, in which already weapons are being traded, secrets are being shared, its a partnership.

Cold War tension: reloaded

It has the look and feel of a cold war.

this is the third cold war

first cold war began from 1946 till vietnam war , and ended policy of detente , the USSR won the first cold war with humilation of US power in Vietnam, Indo-pak 1971 war

second cold war began in 1979 , when soviet military power had surpassed that of USA and was began by Ronald Reagan ....
the second cold war was won by USA , when USSR collapsed(officially second cold war ended in 1990)

third cold war began in 2001

With terror cells spread throughout the globe, we are trying military force in one country. What is a military going to be able to do against rough worldwide terror cells, its a joke.

When did Rissia stop being an enemy of the US? Just because they played nice for a few years did not mean they were not our enemy.

I wonder if this could be another move closer to a New World Government? Are we and citizens of other countries being manipulated to soon believe that the only way to prevent a world war is to form one government?

It is becoming easier to see another government working in the back ground. It is confusing at times trying to sort out lies from the truth. Or is there really any truth out there?

1. Where and exactly when did they meet? I thought the trip to Iran was cancelled.

2. What agreement? Do you have specific language of said agreement for us to look over?

3. Which weapons are being traded? Exactly which ones?

4. Which secrets are being shared? Exactly which ones?

5. Actually it would be a trifecta or an LLC. ( 3 parties involved )

6. President Putin ( show respect of the office )

7. President Bush ( show respect of the office )

Those are some of the question's I was thinking as well. However I can assist you with one of them . President Putin did indeed meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad .Source

russia has always been an enemy of the US. they were our fair weather friend briefly but during the 6 day war the soviets supplied the arab countries with arms and military advisors. and america supplied israel with weapons and supplies. and the same thing during the arab-israeli war.
in fact i recall that the soviets told the syrians that israel was staging thousands of troops along the border (israel wasnt) so syria started preparing for war. (meaning purchasing soviet weapons)
it almost seems like a larger more complex version of the movie "Lord of War"
the truth is the cold war never ended it was just postponed a decade, if you pay attention to the news its currently ratcheting up again. (father of all bombs, russia resuming cold war air maneuvers, supporting enemies of america etc.)

Here's something to chew on,
hows about the original cold war, never ended?

Just because there isnt rhetoric, chest thumping, or stand offs at checkpoints, doesnt mean the largest stock holders of nukes havent been working against each other.

Russia realised the advantages of towing the line with capitalism.. with following a western mentality..

I say, Russia didnt collapse when the wall came down, they lost their fringe buffer zones in terms of eastern european nations, they also lost some clout in the 'minds' of the west.. but holy crap.. they still hold the larges nation on earth, with a stock pile of nukes that would still make the US cringe.

They've managed to build up their oil industry, take the north pole, and gain a lot of support from China, the middle east and south american nations.

The cold war never ended.. Russia just realised the value in laying low, until the west became curropt.


During ww2, the people were with the west, because Germany was the aggressor.
During the post war period, the people were with the west, because russia appeared to be the aggressor.
Today, the people are growing AGAINST the west, because WE ARE THE AGGRESSOR.

The west became the super power because its values and credability were in the right places.
People trusted the US, people wanted to be like the US.

But the current government has destroyed all that good will.
So unless you want to lose the war that is coming, id remove bush and co. NOW!
