I heard this for the first this week. I like many of you wonder about how Christians explain things like dinosaurs which appear millions of years old. How do you picture Adam and Eve.. Adults right? Maybe God created the Earth and Universe with the Appearance of Age. Maybe dinosaurs never really roamed the earth but were part of this creation with the appearance of age.
We'd never know if that were the case would we..

If god did that, then he's a deceiver and no better than satan.

But I think it's more likely and in fact proven that planets form naturally, no need for a sky fairy

Planets may form naturally but where did that material come from?

The big bang? Well then what caused that and where did it come from?

There has to be a beginning (at least as far us we here on earth are concerned there does) but maybe not!!

Ask 10 scientists and get 10 differnet theories - multiverses, wave theory......
Nobody knows we can only guess - at least for now.

yes, exactly, we don't know. saying we do know with the phrase "god did it" doesn't help us get the right answer

yes, we had a prime mover (most likely)... we just don't know what it was

I think as Einstein mentioned God somewhat reveals part of himself and does want man to understand as much of creation as possible.

If you knew God , you would know he is capable of any glorious creation!
Make this a day of discovery! Accept Jesus!

The big bang is just a phase, not the beginning. It's a phase the universe went through, not where the universe came from. How can there be a beginning to everything?

Einstein was an atheist.

SO you know god do you? Thats funny as I thought to believe in god you needed faith, faith in the unknown which would mean you haven't a clue what your talking about, only making it up as you go along.

No thanks, why would I want to accept a myth?

As to the OP why would a god do this? Seems a stupid if you ask me, either that or your god is not what you think it is

if you read richard dawkins book he actually concludes that einstein used the word god in the pantheistic sense.
