Mexican Arrested in Dismemberment Case

MEXICO CITY (AP) — An aspiring horror novelist was arrested after police discovered his girlfriend's torso in his closet, a leg in the refrigerator and bones in a cereal box, the city prosecutor's spokesman said Thursday.

Nearby they found the draft of a novel titled "Cannibalistic Instincts," said the official, who spoke on customary condition of anonymity.

One sick individual, a real life Hannibal Lecter, this aspiring novelist is also being investigated in the mutilation of an ex-girlfriend in 2004 and a prostitute this past April.

The man tried to evade police but was hit by car in his attempted escape.

Too bad they didn't put it in reverse and finish the job on this sad excuse for a human being.
