I guess is not that different from the previous situation, before we had chemical pesticides affecting us, now we have insect killing viruses.

Yeah, why did they make such a big deal about bird flu and now don't even seem concerned enough to find out what's killing the bees. It is a very big deal and it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out.

And yet the bumblebees are doing fine in this side of the world, where such transmission exists as well, beamed via geosynchronous satellites and radio towers. Just this morning I was observing a dozen or so bumblebees visiting my garden. Also noticed a couple of honey bees.

So, I doubt radios are to be blamed. The likeliest candidate in my opinion are GM crops and viruses.
