Why would Darfur refugees become Egyptian street Gangs?

sorry for the weird title in the wrong place. but at this stage i'm desperate. basically i'm looking for a good research topic on the subject concerning sudanese refugees in Cairo and how they turned violent and started killing each other. They got no jobs or education so they formed gangs resembling the ones in LA. their identity is disoriented since they adapted a rap culture and consider themselves part of 50 cent's entourage or something. they feel out of place in this islamic country. anyway i'm doing an academic research paper which i'm lousy at and just looking for a mediocre grade. but i cant find a topic that will be accepted by my teachers who are looking for very specifically defined/focused topics on these gangs. I know this aint the forum for this. duh. but i know this site is very resourceful and alot of good ideas here get tossed around. so my question is do u have a Good/interesting Gang research topic that i can use? plz that would be really helpful.
