Seven presidents nobody remembers

www.cnn.com

We don't recall ever seeing them on our coins, stamps, or monuments, but we're told the following seven men were once president of the United States. Go figure!

Herbert Hoover (President #31, 1929--1933)

Although Herbert Hoover won the 1928 presidential election with almost 60 percent of the vote, today he's basically remembered as a dam. Actually, many Americans probably think he was an FBI director or the guy who invented a vacuum.

Well the president I am most familiar out of this lot is Herbert Hoover. As for rumours that Warren Harding was poisoned the lesson should be that you should never cheat on your wife . Also it is unwise to appoint people on the basis of friendship rather then merit this is something the current admin failed to heed when they entered office.

Feel free to post your thoughts on the seven US presidents who are listed.

There are presidents that have been virtually forgotten about, but I don't think Hoover is one of them. He's associated with the beginning of the Great Depression, so his name is regularly dragged out by politicians who want to paint their opponent as bad on the economy.
