To be honest, I hadn't heard of the bill they were trying to pass, just until I saw this video. Bush is trying to get congress to pass a bill that would excuse himself and others from any war crimes.



It just makes me wonder what other things this will pardon him for, that the media hasn't got light of.

This is absurd, and possibly unconstitutional. Only the President can pardon. Congress can not give a pardon. If they give him immunity that is effectivly throwing out Geneva convention. They are saying Geneva convention violations and war crimes are legal for the president.

DJ yup it was signed last year. It funny how it got swept under the rug. The Military commissons act was signed by Bush.
