MIT student Star Simpson, 19, from Hawaii walks into Logan Airport with a fake bomb strapped to her chest w/ clay held in her hand. She complied with the authorities and is in custody. She says it was art.

I can not think of any legitamite excuse for this action. This might be an attempt at suicide by cop. Deadly force could easily have been used,

I just heard it was art, she may not understand the severity of her actions either legally or morally. Truely unbelievable

The officers deserve great respect on resolving the situation without shooting her, they had plenty of grounds if she would have not complied, or just to protect the people in the airport.
