'Suspicious' package closes M62

A stretch of the M62 motorway in Merseyside has been closed following the discovery of a "suspicious package" on board a National Express coach.

Police shut the carriageway in both directions between junctions four at Rocket and six at Tarbock Island and the bomb squad were called.

Its quite odd.

The IRA use to do that all the time. Put hoax devices on motorways during their campaign. (I'm not suggesting its the IRA).

(A UK program called Casulty last week was based around a bomb going off on a coach by animal extremists. Copy cat?)
