Possible idea for a new forum

Who likes the idea of an environmental forum? It would deal with all the corruptnes that is related to the environment. For example fishing ships that use other countries flags just so they do not have to follow the laws of their country. Some countries sell their flags to fishing ships.

I want to know if people like the idea. If enough people like the idea i might be able to get it made a forum.

Great idea, IMO. There are lot of issues that affect us enviromentally speaking, I can name quite a few myself, especially big tanker ships that clean and discharcge their tanks in our oceans. Happens every day-

After thinking about this I came up with an interesting direction this forum could possibly take- and that would be EXPOSING major polluters and enviromental destroyers. And making same information public.

Conspiracies concerning the environment. Sounds like a winner!

Not to throw a wet-towel on anything here but... What environment-related conspiracies are there that aren't appropriate for our existing forums?

Environment was a suggested theme for a new Forum when members were surveyed to select new ones a while back, but it wasn't one of the more popular choices and dipped out.

It was still a pretty popular choice. Plus it has been a while since then, and lots of new members have joined. There is nothing wrong with having people vote on the idea again.

I have a enviromental area on my forum, but as I'm not around much I haven't done much with it or my forum to be honest.

I think what SO is tyring to say is.. Give us an example of a topic that would go into this new forum.

If we can't place it in any of our other fora here then it may go to vote among the forum moderators.

Where can stuff from a group like greenpeace fit on ATS?

I think a History related forum could also benifit ATS patrons. I mean, alot of stuff happened in the past.

Oh yes, because reputable news sources are the same as greenpeace, a group that has its own very public agenda and is known for militant action.

I'm all for enviromentalism but Greenpeace is just BS.
