my computer randomly restarts
what could be the problem thats causing the computer to restart?
as its starting to pee me off

Uh-oh. I've had something like this happen to me twice. The first time it was some kind of worm/trojan. I had to reformat. Low-level format. That sucked.

The second time it was a faulty power supply unit. Replacement set me back $30. Of course I could've gotten a cheaper PSU, but the cheap ones carry a risk of messing up the other components because of unstable power, spikes, surges and what-nots.

Let's hope your problem is the second one -- much easier to fix.

this doesnt seem to effect the other users on the PC
just me.

if it is a power unit then i can get one sent to me for free

do you know any dedecent bug software?

I suggest getting:

Ad-Aware SE Personal
Spyware Blaster
Spybot Search & Destroy

They work for me and most importantly they're free, otherwise take a look at the thread: Virus, Spyware.. Need Help? Here it is

If it's affecting only you then it could be some kind of bug that loads at startup. Download Sysinternal's Autoruns then reboot your PC into safe mode and run the program. Be careful though, it's a lot more detailed than Windows' built-in msconfig.exe
