Christianity is based on faith and belief in jesus etc. But in Korea, it has become something aberant. Like the educational system which is now so bizarely competetive that Korean children spend 6 hours in school and a further 4 hours on average in outside academies called hagon. Like the Korean education system, Korean christians have become extreme evangelicals. They compete with each other to go to ever more dangerous and un-hospitable locations world wide. Now look what they've done. Their religous zeal have turned Korean foreign policy. Korean christians in Afghanistan in a war brought on by muslim extremists who see NATO and US as crusaders. Stupid Stupid Stupid

i agree, they should not be doing anythign religous there.

i can't believe they gave into the taliban and agreed to withdraw from the country . What a bunch of weaklings. It also sets a bad example and promotes further hostage taking.

Well, it's not their war. They've got Lil' Kim up north to worry about. Afghanistan is way, way, out of the way from the Korean Peninsular.
