Russia Arrests 10 in Connection to the Slaying of Journalist Anna Politkovskaya

MOSCOW (AP) - Russia on Monday announced that 10 people have been arrested in the killing of journalist and Kremlin critic Anna Politkovskaya, including law enforcement officers and a Chechen crime boss accused of organizing the slaying.

Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika said the 10 will soon be charged with the Oct. 7 killing of Politkovskaya, who revealed human rights abuses in war-scarred Chechnya, and he suggested her murder was plotted outside Russia to discredit its leadership.

I have to say this sounds like a roundup of people unwanted anyway to blame for what was really an inside Kremlin murder job.

Please please.. stop crystal-gazing and throw away your crystal sphere..your words are nothing more than pure speculation. More than that, the conclusion you're coming too is absolutely baseless and the only thing which supports such claims is the ill western media. Killing Politkovskaya would be more advantageous for those who are willing to discredit Russia in the eyes of the world community. Same goes for Litvinenko..By the way, apart for claiming Lugovoy a murderer, Scotland-Yard has never provided any evidence to support
their blatant claims. What a disgrace for Sherlock Holmes' successors...Everything they do is spreading baseless accusations all over the place while the real murderers are living nearby..Open your eyes, for God's sake.
