I don't know about this...they cannot block radiowaves or the ability of peopple to tune in to satellite channels. Look at the self-censorship that OUR Press practises under fear from Government flak and you will see that we have the impression of freedom but are just as censored as the Chinese...

As much as I dislike PRChina, I really do have to question the validity of this site.

There are two sites on the big list they show that are'nt blocked, anymore atleast,
those being myspace and Wikipedia.

Apart from that it shows an official Chinese state news (Xinhua) site as being blocked.


I'm willing to bet ANY site url you type in will show as blocked.

its just stupid on how much is censored!!
thou it is true that western countries are quiet similar,
but i think the western counter parts are less aggressively and more,....sly? about doing so
