The last steps are in place as the US is declaring the Iranian special guard unit as a terror organization based on intel recieved linking the Iranians to Iraqi insurgents. Iran since 1984 has been on the list of state supported terrorism.

www.washingtonpost.com...

The designation of the Revolutionary Guard will be made under Executive Order 13224, which President Bush signed two weeks after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to obstruct terrorist funding. It authorizes the United States to identify individuals, businesses, charities and extremist groups engaged in terrorist activities. The Revolutionary Guard would be the first national military branch included on the list, U.S. officials said -- a highly unusual move because it is part of a government, rather than a typical non-state terrorist organization.

There have been links in the papers and news agencies about weapons and training that is being provided by the Iranians in Iraq. These guys will soon be included in the War on Terror, does that mean we can go after them in Iran? Is this the groundwork for the final stage of the invasion plan?

LOL-this really isnt anything new. The US as well as other countries (some Arabic) have reguarded the RG a terrorist organization. This just makes it official.

This is new that we are declaring them officially as a terror organization. It makes a huge difference in what we can do with the power of 'congress'.

it also takes them out of the 'collateral damage' category
when & if we start bombing the nuclear enrichment sites
all scattered about in Iran...
so a 'carpet bombing' plan of operation is now possible with all those
? quarter-million ? Revolutionary Guards scattered about Iran being
designated as terrorists rather than a soverign nations militia.

all it takes is crafting the language to one's purpose
