Bush Space Budget 1 billion Dollars that's it.

Bush set a budget of 1 Billion Dollar for the moon and mars program

but is that enought I think that private companies like boeing, airbus, Northtrop and other aerospace companies should start making plans how to exploit this and they should invest in making space and the moon, mars etc their next traget for further development. anyone else have any comments

As I recall the article it's an increase to Nasa of 1 billion a year for 5 years along with Nasa cancelling some 11 billion in projects to get this going.
