Airlines sue FBI, CIA for access to 9/11 investigators

NEW YORK - Airlines and aviation-related companies sued the CIA and the FBI on Tuesday, asking a federal court to let them interview investigators who can tell whether the aviation industry was to blame for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks or whether it had acted reasonably.

They want among other things to interview the CIA head of the OBL unit there. The FBI has also been asked to make past and present people linked to OBL tracking avalible. The airlines would not have sued unless the government was reluctant to allow the people to give depositions etc.
