I'm thinking about attending the 38th Annual International MUFON UFO Symposium is going to be held kind of close to where I live but I have my doubts.

Can anyone here with experience in this type of events give me perspective on what to expect? I guess you have to purchase some kind of ticket. Also whats the atmosphere like in this type of event?

Bottom line is it worth it?

If its close to you, why not?

You wont get anything "ground breaking" , but might see or hear some things you didnt know!!

I'd go if it was close to me!!

Why not I'm sure your may see or hear something you did not know, and even if you don't you will still meet people with similar thoughts and ideas.
And you can tell them about ATS

Oh yes, do attend. You might want to do a little poking around the "Net beforehand... and if it's local, so much the greener. Plug the symposium name in Google and you may find out a few things that could maximize your visit. Have fun!
