Radioactive Train Stopped On Ukrainian Border

A train from Hungary bound for Belarus via Ukraina was stopped on the Ukrainian border. A safety check revealed that the train was radioactive. According to the documents, the wagon contained zirconium ore, but the radiation levels exceeded the norm threefold. The train was returned to Hungary.

A similar report says it happened at a checkpoint in Chop, Ukraine.

Another report says the train arrived there from Montenegro, so perhaps Hungary was not the country of origin.

Montenegro?! That was interesting. Lots of spooky stuff going on in Montenegro. But then the train would have had to transit Serbia as well. The article mentions a "Ukrainian – Montenegrin border". However, there is no such border. Montenegro doesn't share border with Ukraine. If that train really came from Montenegro, then the train must have been allowed to transit both Serbia and Hungary before being stopped.

I bet something nuclear was buried in that ore...pretty smart way to smuggle things of that nature and it almost worked.

Quite correct. I'm confused about it too.

It also said that the particular train car was going to go across Belarus as a transit. So apparently we don't know where its final destination was either.

I wonder if that train is in Montenegro or somewhere in Hungary now. Maybe it's in Serbia? Vinca perhaps?

I can only come up with two possible situations how this happened:
1) the ore was radiactive, as some ores naturally are and it happened to have a high enough concentration of radioactive isotopes to trigger the sensors.

2)Somebody placed radioactive material, most likely from Serbia to that loas in order to smuggle it into Western Europe. Are there any facilities that use Zirconium ore near population centers in UK or Germany? Because this would be a perfect way to get dirty bomb material near its target without raising suspicions. (as ores usually have a low radioactive reading and thus small amounts of bomb material could simpply dissappear into that background)

According to this article, the cargo came from Italy and the train seems to be in Hungary now. They are waiting for documents to be cleared so they can continue to Belarus.

There are very few sources and they all disagree. Train returned to Montenegro. Train returned to Slovenia. Train still in Hungary. Train came from Italy. Train came from Montenegro. Train came from Slovenia. Etc.

Why these conflicting reports? It's a conspiracy!

New Radioactive Train Incident

Another highly radioactive train has been stopped on the border, but this time it was a different border. It was stopped from entering Serbia and had to return to Bulgaria. It was heading for Macedonia. The radiation inside of one of the wagons was over 3000 times higher than allowed. Outside the train, the radiation was over 300 times higher than allowed. This old thread's train originated from Macedonia according to some reports. And considering how easy it apparently is to steal nuclear materials in Serbia, according to this thread, it's all a bit strange. What nuclear materials? From where to where, and why?
