Unlike people, the moon could have many places where gas could erupt from. The Earth has many sites with geyers and gas eruptions. Moon quakes and
solar energy could drive the reaction to release pressure from an assortment of fissures or cracks. As we have surprisingly little hard data on the
moon, so all we can do is speculate. Until we have a permanent, accessable base or colony there that we can e-mail for answers, all theories have to
be looked at from our Earth slanted perspective. Personally I like the one about Martians with flashlights. lol
