N.J. Woman Reports Thousand-Gallon Pool Stolen

www.foxnews.com

Valdivia awoke to find her family's hip-high, inflatable, 10-foot diameter swimming pool gone from her back yard Wednesday.

Valdivia told The Record of Bergen County the theft must have occurred between 1 a.m., when her husband went to bed, and 5 a.m., when she awoke.

She's amazed someone could steal the pool that quickly and said she just wanted to know "what the heck they did with the water."

Any thoughts on who and how?

Some aliens wanted to go for a swim, but when they woke up so soon...well, they just stole it.

That or it was a dimensional rip in time-space

Any other explanation? Not a clue.

I have a pool about the dimensions she has, it takes me about 4-6 hours to siphon drain it with a garden hose, plus another 45 minutes to get the 2 or 3 inches of remaining water in the pool. You would have to use a pump and they make noise to get it done any faster or use a bigger draining tube.

My pool ruptured and flooded the yard at about 6 in the evening. The next morning it didn't look like any water had spilled out as our ground was so dry from low rain. Placing the draining hose far from the pool or in a sewer, you would never notice it.

A lot of work to get a relatively inexpensive pool though. Someone must be pranking them or not liking them.

I heard the same story last year.

Puzzled me then too.

Doesn't this belong in BelowTopSecret?
This is more 'General News' than 'Breaking Alternative News'.

With all the events going on in the world, this makes the news?
Someone stole her pool, who cares?
(I guess FoxNews does)
