BBC reports protesters in the southern Iraqi town of Amarah had Iraqi police forces and British troops open fire on them as they gathered to protest for more jobs and to oppose a recently elected government official.

The protestors began tossing rocks and explosives at the Iraqi police and British forces, which eventually led to a counter-attack by the British, Iraqi forces. In the end, Amarah's hospital reported 6 protestors were reported dead with another 11 being injured.

is the IDF in Iraq or what?

maybe they use the same training program to shoot civilians?

the British don't shoot civilians... their soldiers are well-trained and educated.

Did you miss the part about how they were being attacked with explosives?

A large group of people throwing rocks and explosives are not protestors. They're a deranged mob. The media doesn't seem to understand the difference, and tries to garner sympathy for these nuts by calling them 'protesters'.
