Fate of America

This is an open discussion for anyone, although be forewarned: This will focus on Bible prophecy and its many interpretations.

It has often been said that America, the most powerful nation on the earth, is nowhere to be found in Bible prophecy as it's centered on the final conflict (found mainly in Books of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation). On the other hand, many scholars and evangelicals have related current world events to the shaping of that final battle (namely Israel's continued isolation and a evolving partnership of Iran, Russia and to a lesser degree China, all who are major alledged players in the battle of Armageddeon).

America is not mentioned as a player in the Last Battle. And that's scary because the implications for the most powerful nation on the planet to not be involved in the battle. What happens to America to keep us out? Are we even existing?

There are those in the evangelical camps who profess that America will be disorganized and lose power because of The Rapture. I'm not part of those who believe in the Rapture theory, so for me, there has to be another explanation...

Any suggestions?

The only way to provide information, is that Ron Paul is going to be president. He does not want to go to war.

Or Bush messed up and China, Russia, and Iran bombed every part of the United States, wiping us all out.

There is still problems with that. Our government has contingency plans in the event of a full scale nuclear attack. Even if Yellowstone would blow there is still a contingency plan. The U.S. could sink like the fabled Atlantis and our subs would still pose a very serious threat to a 200,000,000 man army that will gather in Meggido.

I keep hearing people say this, but it seems rather unfounded to me. There is references to "the Eagle" and the "stone kingdom," which is America throughout the Bible.

I don't recall these references; what books are they in?

lots of interpeters suggest the 'eagle' symbol represents the USA,
that's their view & fine for them...

lot of interpetation has it that the 'bear' symbolizes the modern era's Russia (formerly the USSR)
but scripture reeveals that, in at least one instance, that the 'bear' represents 'Persia'...which is modern day Iran & parts of Turkey.
So - i'm against the interpetation that 'bear' only represents Russia
in the final-end-times wars & battles known as the Gog-Magog war,
and the final climatic battle between 'good-v-evil' ->> Armageddon !

the USA is alluded to, but as one of the 7 kings of the end-time 'beast' empire.
the USA is the 'king' that lays low 3 kings.
here's the explaination.... when the USA & Canada & Mexico join together in the political/economic/security & trade patnership...known as the 'NAU'
NorthAmericanUnion...that will be the 'three kings' that get ripped out
of power by the 'little horn' (aka; anti-christ)...
because in the USA which
of course will be the principal boss/leader of the soon to be NAU,
the line of succession ~when the President dies/etc~ the VP, Speaker,
even the Secretary of Defense are all in some place in line to assume the powers of the Presidency (or lately the executive with the power of a Ceasar).........
expect a Coup in America, for some member of this or a later regime to seize power in the /US and then to run roughshod over Mexico & Canada
of the NAU to create a western-hemisphere bloc...which will then assume command of the whole 10 head/7 horn end-time 'Beast Empire' that controls the whole world ...in many senses

imo, america gets taken over by a diabolical team (a small party as scripture has it)...

America is not mentioned in the Bible because the Bible predominately traces the lineage of Christ and his resultant church.

The Bible also does not mention Dinosaurs and many other things that have impacted this earth but we know they existed at one time.

The ultimate reason for this is so that Jews, Muslims and Christians can not only trace their origins, but learn what is expected f them from God.

Once people realize that the Bible traces the lineage of Christ starting from Adam though David then through Christ, maybe they will start taking the Bible out of context so much, and quit blaming God for every problem they have.

Try this on for size. How many States are there in the U.S., really. Only the provinces of other countries, really count as self sustaining States. California, Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, and Florida, were all provinces in their own right. Hawaii and Texas were even independant. Where then do all of the paper States rate. IMO they are really only the expression of the founding Father's concept of Grand Masonic Lodges. Each is managed by it's own Grand Lodge, and is accessible therin. Each Grand master, has the economic power equivelant to an elected Govenor. Where it falls down, is in the States which never existed on their own, but still possess overly broad economic power, or extended territory. New York is the Empire State, and Idaho and Montana, share parts of the stillborn State of Columbia, due to a surveyor's error, in the Nineteenth Century. Without the orderly postage stamp page map, things can start growing up in the cracks. North Idaho should show this to be true. New York State, is an economic behemoth, and Montana is one vast 'Big Sky'.
Check out Washington's Third prophecy, and you should see where a war can start up on the Pacific Slope, and slowing expand Eastwards, all the way to the Alantic Seaboard. Needless to say, we will probably be fully occupied, one way or the other, when the balloon goes up in the Middle East. If you look to the new quarters, you will see that Louisiana, was and may still be the largest province of all. It's Royal French heritage sports the true Blue Ensign, which sums up Washington's Third Prophecy, and IMO, Washington was America's "Magnificent Grail Knight". "First in War, First in Peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen!! With God's help, we blew across North America, to the Pacific, in less than a hundred years, to 1898. Today the proto-matter states, for you Star Trek nerds, have caused the bureaucracy of the Eastern Establishment, to begin to spin completely out of control. Only self sustaining States, descending from the old provinces, can form the classic hollow squares of the British Army, to fend off incursions. The paper States will wilt and crumble.

The whole Chapter 18 of Revelations is about modern USA...

and the current, 2008-2009 fiscal/financial system/economic system
series of Crises will be resolved, the USD will essentially recover by the important 2012 date...

not because of the FED/Treas/fascist Corp-Govt policies...
but because Bible Prophecy instructs us that the USA 'Harlot'
is to be destroyed 'In-an-hour' -& the whole monetary/trade/military
force that controls the world, including the G-20 will rejoice & plunder the remains of the USA corpse.

so, all those fearful of the economic collapse that seems sure-to-come,
or even the collapse of the USD....should reverse their strategies,
gold will still gain on all fiat currencies, but the USD will remain a force in the world economic structure/system for somewhere near a decade or until the destruction decreed for it in Biblical Prophecies
anywhere from 2010~2012 thru 2020 is my read of the timeline

USA is NOT the Harlot of Revelation.
The "Harlot" refers to the Holy Roman Empire.

And that's scary because the implications for the most powerful nation on the planet to not be involved in the battle.

Alexander Tyler a Scottish historian puts it best.

7 From apathy to dependence
8 From dependence back to bondage

We would be at number 7 dependence. We are no longer the most powerful nation on the planet. However this does not mean we will not be in the picture come Armageddeon. We will be on Israels side without a doubt.
