Teams mimic stem cells using skin cells

NEW YORK - In a leap forward for stem cell research, three independent teams of scientists reported Wednesday that they have produced the equivalent of embryonic stem cells in mice using skin cells without the controversial destruction of embryos.

If they can do this with Human cells, this could be HUGE!!!! Imagine the advancements in healing technology without upsetting the Right wings!!!

I don't think the issue is whether or not the "Right wings" get upset, so much as it's a matter of destroying innocent human life.

If it works out, it could be definitely be huge, but no one will suggest that the "Left wings" were barbaric to suggest that its okay to kill babies to cure illness when perfectly safe measures were just waiting to be discovered.

Well since we are not utilizing these stem cells, even though abortion is still legal, isn't that wasting a life? Should some good not come from such atrocity? It's not like these babies are being aborted for the stem cells.
