I saw Al Gore on Charlie Rose last night and it was fantastic.

video.google.com...

Well Charlie did a bang up job and Al told him "your the best Charlie, thankyou"

As a Canadian who is well aware of the lies that led to war in Iraq it was so refreshing to here him speak.

Several things he said.
America has lost Facts and Reason
the debate process lacks Facts and Reason
Fear of being unpatriotic was rampent.
therefore no Facts and Reason debate occures.
and its true because there were ample facts that the correct thing to do was not to go into Iraq.
Who really oppesed the war in the media with real Facts and Reason to mount a educated public response?????
NO ONE!
He would have never left afganistan till he had bin laden.
the amount of democracy left of the constitution is very dangerously low...
its incredible how so many people have been silenced.
It was a very powerful hour that asked each and everyone of you to really ask questions....especially those who just TRUST the government
You are responsible for you leaders actions as well as them.
Its your neck too...if you want to be incontrol, then take back control

here is the link to reviews of his other interviews and how maybe they did not do the job Charlie Rose did last night.

Cheers from a proud Canadian...go Constitution Fighters

Charlie Rose is, indeed, a pro. He's been interviewing people for a long, long time, and
has gotten very good at it. Right up there with Johnny Carson, probably the best interviewer ever.

As for Al Gore, well, seeing as he's a politician, I can't 100% believe anything he says, or trust the motivations behind it. He does make a few good points in the interview, though.

I watched it, Junglelord, that's how I knew he made some valid points.

if thats what you mean by political.

By "political" I mean he's a politician. He has run for and held office.
I initially assume that everything said by a politician is a lie.
I am rarely proven wrong on this. Even when they spout accurate facts,
the motivation behind what they are talking about rarely has anything to do with what they are saying.

Of course, that's just personal opinion.
Take it or leave it as you will

are we not all political?

Most of us are. Myself, not so much.
Were I more political, my life would probably be a lot smoother.
