My question is inspired by this article. It made me think about the ultimate low-frills airline: one without security. No worrying about x-rays and bag checks. No waiting, no fuss, just take your ticket and board (and possibly roll the dice). Who here would go for it?

I don't think I'm quite ready to do it yet. Of course, $20 Boston to Orlando is tempting....

Well first of all, all the x-rays and bag checks are done before you even get near a plane and i dont even think the airlines have any part of it.

Unless your airlines plans to take off and land on major highways

No airline would take a chance like that...planes are expensive as hell, and if one got blown up it would be a huge hit to their costs and their image. You wouldnt want people to be scared to ride your plane either

that being said..its not happening
