Whats up With NY Traffic laws.

In new york the speed limit is 55. This is good for the government because if they stop you going 70+ which they usually stop u for. They can justify making you pay more for the fine for being 20+ mph. But the truth is that everyone on the highway, im talking the median number for average speed should be around 62-68. No one ever goes 55 not even the slow lane. This law is crazy.

Another crazy thing is DUI's. Alcohol creates more DUI's then any other drug. Yet it is legal? It deteroriates your brain and you become a alcoholic, it's a dieases. Why is alcohol still being served and other drug's arent. It's really to put people in jail. To put fear in people.

Keeping it at 55 has everyone in fear. Am I going to fast. Well everyones going 65 maybe it's ok. But in the back of your midn your saying #! im going 10mph over the speed limit!!! Ah who cares nothing a little :w: wont solve!
