Uploading an Avatar

As was stated previously in this thread, it would be helpful if you would post the url here, so that we may assist you in determining why it isn't working.

My mistake!! Well, my Avatar is up now; after a coupla days I shall
increase the size so it'll fit in the space provided.

Check your ATS Toolbar, 4 buttons in from the left you will see either this

Both will bring you to your Member Center

Might be good idea to make a suggestion that the "member center/U2U" button alternates the text between "member center" and "U2U" - so this way the "Member Center" is still clearly visible. - - - Then again, people complained about the flashing "You have u2u's" button that was used previously, so I don't know how well it will be received. Perhaps make the "U2U" part the same or similar color to the "Member Center" button.

Also, I have seen numerous newer members not realising what the U2U button is. Probably have U2U's piled up from the Admins mass u2u distribution, and possibly others.

*Shrug* I don't know...seems to work fine for the most part.

Maybe have a pop up saying "Click here! Click here! "

yes, it works fine for those familiar with it.

however newer members haven't a clue, except for those that actually read through the handbook, and other sources of helpful info, especially for the new member.

i'm dylexic & schizo, so i might just be imagining it...
but i think whenever i hit the U-2-U button

what comes up is the U-2-U 'in-box' as the main focus on the window....



but on the far Left-side, there is the Black-Box frame that is the sought after :
Message Center menu of items...

if one goes to the 3rd item listed "Account Settings"
one can type in their signatures, and sign n their Avatars
also increase your upload space by buying more +10k upload increases

Okay, I follow so far... (yes that is the member center)

Most likely you still see the "U2U" button because there are u2u's marked as unread, or u2u's from admin.

remove the u2u's to your "saved" folder or delete them, if not needed. Then you should see the "member center" button.

yeh I have that problem on my computer on mine I go into a thread and then suddenly memcenter is there in the blue section. But when I'm not in the thread just browsing it dissapears.......quite odd!
