ATS downtime this evening

I took the server down for about 10 minutes just a little while ago... if anyone was in mid-post or going through withdrawl because ATS wasn't loading... my apologies! We were experiencing well over 400 unique connections to the server and things were slowing down. I needed to stop the webserver to get a better look at what kind of connections were hitting us. As it turned out, 5 different IP's (which were not members) were hitting us with several requests a second... they type of activity you'd see from an offline site archiving tool that trolls through a site, looking for every link, and downloading static HTML versions of everything it can find. This is typical of a mild attack. The IP's have been blocked and we seem to be back to normal performance.

So thats what was going on.....and here I thought that U guys were gone....

Whew....

thats weird, 10 mins ago I couldn't connect to vault network, lol I thought I had gotten myself banned there or something. hmm
