If Beagle is alive, it will call more frequently
British-built Mars probe Beagle 2 was due to switch into a communications mode on Wednesday that increases the chances of contact being made with it.

Yes, a great disappointment that Beagle appears to have been damaged in some way - or, at least, is "reluctant" to show itself...


Sometimes, "no news is good news" but with Beagle time seems to be running out....

Perhaps the "Martian jinx" has struck again??

or they can be recieving transmissions, making contact, but they have to play it off to the media like theres nothin coming from it. That way they will insure no leaks about alien life...never know
