Seriously, how much do you think that George Orwelle's book 1984 has influenced US and foreign politics within the last 20 years? The book was very prophethetic, the book predicted the fall of truth and the beginning of fake news and also created the idea that people are comrades and that people must bide together in times of war and they use many of the terminology of BB in the 21st Century!

The Bush43 administration is BB. Read the patriot act, that's my fair warning, then you will see how they are like BB.

No one cares about the book 1984? The book 1984 was very prophetic and I advise for all of you to go over it. If you don't, all of what you are typing will seem to be pure fantasy and you will be far from the truth.

You cant get any more prophetic than that. In fact, i was reading that it is now in a special list as one of the greatest books ever written. Way up there with the greatest!!!

George Orwell wrote the book 1984 as an act against the Soviet Union and it's betrayal of socialism. Just like the USSR, it used empty words, the news spoke of victory and justice, while the oposite happened. Orwell also wrote the book as a warning for future societies.

The US used Orwells book against him, by making school children read it and picture communism like the government wanted it: like in 1984. Ironically, the American government is now doing exactly what Orwell wrote in this book.
