After Denials, Suddenly Intel on NYC Attacks

After a week of denials of credible intel on attacks on NYC... Suddenly, "very credible" intel on hard and soft targets in NYC.

Citing credible intelligence that terrorists mention New York as an end-of-year target, federal and city law enforcement officials yesterday pumped up security to its highest level ever to ensure a safe New Year's Eve celebration tonight.

The head of the FBI's New York office said the Joint Terrorism Task Force has received information with "higher reliability" about terrorist chatter mentioning threats against city targets - ranging from landmarks to hotels.

"We're not trying to scare the hell out of people, but there has been increased chatter with a higher reliability" of credibility, said FBI Assistant Director in Charge Pasquale D'Amuro.

I'd agree with you on that one WOS, things are going steadily downhill as the clock ticks down.

IF there are any attacks tonight, there will be a huge amount of video footage, that's for sure

Ugh, and if there's anything graphic, you know the media is going to exploit those people's pain for as much money as they can possible get...

When will this stop???
It is so obvious they are just trying to scare everyone and create hysteria and panic for propaganda...every single day there are more announcements of higher and higher terror risks, yet I haven't seen any attacks thus far or any of this evidence to support risks of attacks.
