A dream i had from when i was. young

OK this is gonna sound kind of weird but i heard that this is the place to come to talk about dreams, OK when i was younger i used to dream about a man in black who visited me and wanting to harm and scare me i had these dreams for years and every night, i wonder if there was any explanation for the person? then after a couple of years there was another person in my dream who was a white figure and then after that i stopped dreaming about it.

Oh my lawdy's I know just the fellow you're talking about -
He would bleed right into the room when I was a kid, and I would be paralyzed with fear.
Then my son had the same troubles with him when he was younger - the scary bastide would chase him around in his dreams.

What I would tell the lad, is your power is being challenged so that you can grow.

Face the bugger down, which worked.
