Google Earth Unknown, Unexplained & MIL 2007

Does anyone have any interesting Google Earth places?

Please post your places with format of

38 15 56n, 105 57 6e
OR

You can paste either of these two examples into Google Earth to try it.

Also post the GE image shot of the location if possible.

There have been some amazing GE places that have been found by people that have never discovered before. Places like archaelogical sites, monuments, buildings, sites. Also odd military places, unknown spots, blacked out areas etc. Let's see em!

Hmm... that strange area looks like an artificial landscape, created, perhaps, for specific environment training for the military. I really don't see what else could it be...,

Look it up on Google Earth with the coords. It is in China.

The first one looks to be a solar farm or solar heat exchanger? 2nd one looks to be a test pattern or glitch or something. These are not marked, you should pin them on GE.

The AUS base is interesting indeed. The hangars are in a configuration that is odd, never seen this type of configuration and the purpose of..?

the site found by Great lakes is common all over the Netherlands, just have a look at the Haag.

I seen that one awhile back. It turns out that it's some Chinese facility, and that strange field next the base is a small scale replica of a vast region somewhere near one of their borders. I think the land being emulated is even on the other side oof a border of whatever country it's in (India?). I dont know where i seen the discussion, but it was pretty interesting seeing the full story.

It might be interesting to check out the Google Earth view over that so-called Bohemian Grove. I don't know what the co-ordinates are for that place.

Had location saved of stealth type plane at Jordanian airbase NOW IT'S GONE;

How do I save pics of my finds for reference in future. All comments welcome.

Here's a neat one. In South America, it's a huge glyph. The entire mountain is interesting, and there appears to be some airbrushed sand dunes. Also, take note how it's the only mountain in the area, like maybe something is buried there.

Not strictly military, although it used to be when it was built in the forties (as was the whole area I now live in, ex RAF maintentance depot), this is roxel summerfield rocket propulsion laboratories, just up the road from me.

I get some tantalising glimpses of entrances to WWII bunkers when going past on the bus!

There are lots of military installations here in the midlands left over from WWI when a plan was formulated to turn the midlands into an impregnable fortress in the event of nazi invasion, makes urban (and rural) exploration a hoot!

Thanks for the coordinates THEQUANTAMSHAMAN.

To show degree signs go to the special characters map on your system tools. To get to it click on the start button...then on the programs button...then on the accessories button....then on the system tools button....then click on Character Map. There you will find all sorts of special characters. Just click on the one you want to use then at the bottom click select and then copy. Once it is copied you can paste it wherever you place the cursor. Example: 38º 27' 55.00 N - 122º 59' 44.00 W

Its a prison, you can see the double fence that surrounds the entire facility

I tried to find some pictures of HAARP on google Earth, but this is the best it shows

I would suggest two satellite image resolutions used because the line extends west and east. I think it's clever how these iamges have been grafted together.

I found this one while browsing google earth. The roads go right into the mountain and it looks like it was touched up a bit. It's in Utah somewhere.

As far as the HAARP image, I think I have an overlay that shows better resolution, will have to find it...
