Save As Draft Feature
We have a new feature on ATS (ATS-only right now) that provides members with an ability to save a reply as a draft post, and return at some future
time to further refine and post it as a reply.
This will be particularly helpful if:
You're creating a reply and need to step away from your computer... just hit "Save As Draft" to save your reply without posting it to the
thread.
You're creating a long or complex reply in the post window, and want to save your work as you go... just hit the "Save As Draft" to save your reply
and continue working on your message.
For now, this new feature is only functioning on replies. However, we'll soon include the ability to save new thread posts as drafts as well.
To access your draft posts, just visit the Member Center and click on the
Draft Posts button at the bottom left.

That will be a fine addition to an already splendiferous board!
I'd be a rich man if I got a penny for everytime someones closed the browser when I nip off for a bit, this is a lifesaver.

I think is great in case someone wants to reply to more than one post and is waiting to see what else is posted.
I like it, thanks.

Very good That's a wonderful idea It will be a fine upgrade to the site, especially when it applies to starting a new thread (future) and
more research needs to be done...save it and come back later. Perfect

Really nice feature! And will be extremely helpful in developing well thought out replies or replies that get interrupted, which happens very
often.
Thanks for the nice addition and all of your time.

Joy and happiness abound thank you sir.
No longer will Mrs timeless test and all the little timeless tests be assailed with the darker side of my vocabulary when a long post does not update
properly and disappears for ever into the ether.
...and this was saved and then posted as a draft - very good indeed.

This is great!
Now I can go back, review my post, and not make a fool of
myself quite so often because the delete/edit option has run out.
Thanks!

My browser tends to be buggy and shutdown without notice so this is a great feature to add to the site.

I think this will be helpful for some that get their connections dropped alot.
For some reason on many forums including this one, if I'm writing a post that takes along time like ten minutes or so and the post/reply page stays
stagnant the whole time I get logged out.
So when you hit send to post you get a blank page becuase your not logged on. You hit the back butto and everything you wrote is no longer their.
I might be the only person with this problem because I have my computer set up a special way and sometimes it interfears with things.
I can save draft here and there to prevent that happening!
P.S. I usually just copy everything to notepad before sending, but don't have to anymore.
Thanks!
Signed,
Soon to be an ATS freak!
