Well duh. Of course we own Iraq!

I support any action necessary to determine who is supplying our enemies in Iraq with munitions and chemical weapons. All that chlorine didn't come from Iraqi swimming pools.

Ok this is getting insane, i can't believe some of the things I'm reading, i will do my best to stay polite.

What would you Americans do if a force from another country invaded your country and started to take control of it? that would be a true act of ''terrorist''

This is getting ridiculous because,

There's no such things as countries, it's just the world......

It's all brain washing.........

What, who did this guy say he was tortured by? The US Army or the CIA???

And another thing, if this is true, this is absolutely horrible, but keep in mind that Iran has lost a lot credibility after using the 15 sailors for propaganda purposes. This could possibly be them spewing more propaganda.

Does anyone know why the Iranian diplomat was in Baghdad in the first place?

They were invited by the Sovereign and for the people democraticaly elected leader of Iraq but we already know that Iraq government is nothing but a puppet of the US government.

Agit8dChop go live in your beloved Iran as it smells of roses to you eh

so anything Iran says is pure fact for you believe without question i think if Iran said the moon was blue you would be here sprouting woot the moons blue everyone.

Iran is probably causing trouble in Iraq, and when the coalition forces leave Iraq Iran will move in and take it for themselves then what will you say when they do that?

I'm fed up people believe Iran events over their own Country's version which are not going around saying Israel need wiping of map and kidnapping innocent people and Innocent is the word there for Iran they don't give a fig what the West thinks its all about the middle east for them.

just look at Iran's history of hostage and kidnappings sigh really trust worthy aren't they.

Agit8dChop clearly stated that no one knows if they were in Iranian waters or not.

Agit8dChop's position was stated as not jumping to conclusions.

I think it's you blobby, who will believe whatever the news media will say.

You said the word right there, probably, assuming as usual.

Causing trouble in Iraq is the US soldiers who turned Iraq into a big pile of dust while Iraqi people didn't even want them in Iraq in the first place.

To be honest with you i wouldn't want Iran nor USA to take control of Iraq, both result will be devastating.

Actually, THAT is ridiculous.

There have always been countries. Either countries, or nationalities that form aliances, or boundries, or wars over boundries, or group A enslaving group B, etc etc

It has NEVER been 'just the world'.

Never.

No you are wrong, we don't believe neither, we simply want peace, something perhaps you will understand one day.

Perhaps it was never a fact that there was no countries in the minds of the people but in my mind there are no countries because the result of individual countries is...... wars.

And i want peace.

Why do the land masses of earth have to be divided into different countries, further dividing and ruling, I mean god forbid we live together as one species.

How could someone with an internet connection be so stupid?

Of course they torture as Alberto Gonzalez said on the record that they have the right to crush a child testicles in front of the parents in order to get the parents to talk.

You are nothing more than a stupid mancow and it makes me sick that the world is a dysfunctional place because you stupid, ignorant and hellbent people who play the fiddle in your brain while the world burns.

You have no place in a forum such as this and your lack of cognitive and logical thinking skills is appalling.

You are wrong because the United States is the problem in Iraq.

They hate us and 665,000 dead Iraqis can attest to that.

S.H was a murderous son of a b*$ch but we have done more to destroy those People, Country and lives than S.H could have ever done.

Keep in mind given the innumerable crystal clear instances of high corruption and murder within our own Govt maybe red China will decide its time for Operation American freedom and come here and "liberate" us they way they liberated Tibet.

Remember we owe them so much cash its not even funny and as Major General Smedley Butler USMC once said when Countries cant pay their debts eventually the Marines get called in.

Please wake up.

How can folks still get all fired up over a few random electrodes, or a little water-boarding now and again...remember, Roberto declared certain provisions of the Geneva Convention 'quaint'...guess some missed his 2002 memo to JWB.

Good Fortune

Mancow??!!!

thats a first for me!

Anyways..

1) You CANNOT kidnap a diplomat irrespective of whether he is within the consulate or not. Whether he is conducting, controlling terrorist activities is irrelevant. If you feel that he is infact doing such things the you declare him PNG(Person-non-grata) and direct him to pack his stuff/family and leave within 7 days.
End of story.
You do NOT apprehend/kidnap a diplomat. Torture is another story altogether.

2) You do NOT send your personnel unprotected/unsupported into/close to the territorial waters of a nation you have been publicly threatening to take 'severe actions' against..
Its just not a very wise thing to do. Its like an invitation to force them to act.
In any eventuality, the HMS Cornwall should have positioned itself BETWEEN the Iranian border/forces and the merchant ship being boarded, so that passage of the boarding party would've been secured.Whay didn't they do that?!
I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA!! Maybe there were some secondary objectives to that boarding mission afterall. Otherwise I think its plain stupid not to position the CTF flagship in a protective stature. ESP if the operation is being carried out in Iraqi waters!!
They(Iranians) would be extremely brave to take direct action against a Frigate sized vessel.
Capturing sailors in a dinghy is peanuts compared to that.

Don't you guys get it?c'mon its not rocket science!!
It DOESN"T MATTER whether it happened in Iraqi or Iranian waters. You gave them a chance to put you in a spot and they did just that.Lets hope you guys don't let your guard down again. Esp with the war-footing you're on.
