Could someone tell me what these markings are? I've just downloaded Google Earth and came across them.

They're on the Nellis AF range, so i'm guessing it's some kind of a target or range-finding thing.

I have no idea what they are, maybe an ex-air force person can give some proper clues.

It does kind of look like a target, but I'm sure it's supposed to..

The triangular part is nearly a mile wide, so if this is a target will the pilot be wearing boxing gloves?

It looks like a tower of some kind in the center, maybe for dropping atomic bombs!

It could be something to do with underground alien bases but that's a bit of a wild stab in the dark. lol
