Am I mistaken or does the Latin maxim on this emblem translate into "knowledge is power"?

I bet it's real meaning is "what are we gonna do about those individuals who think independantly and discuss their thoughts and engage in information sharing activities with other individuals outside of carefully controlled organized events and discussions which may "send the wrong message"? (Disagree with the politically correct, media controlled view).

Now if you buy a pack of cigarettes, there is a bar code that tells the computer you bought a pack of cigs. In the TIA program The computer knows WHICH pack of cigarettes you bought. It will have a serial # of its own. Useful information . If the cops find YOUR empty cigarette pack at a crime scene, you are a suspect. Better not litter. Better yet better destroy all your trash. Better yet don't buy Anything you cannot control. The only ones who may be safe are those who grow their own food , or tobacco products and avoid all packaging. If the government is short on funds they could just create trash, the paper trail to tie you to it, and issue a warrant. Science fiction or TIA?
