Last time I checked, Those in charge of running this country don't own the media, in fact they are attacked by the media in this country at every turn. Abu Grahb was disclosed, Gitmo was disclosed, What are they missing? Do I also need to point out that Canada has a free press, France has a free press, Great Britan, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan...China..(no wait, not China). I belive that even IRAQ has a free press!

Here are some that dont: Syria, Saudi Arabia, N. Korea, Venezuala. I suggest you check out some of the media outlets from these countries, Maybe you'll find something there.

Thats a huge insult to every true dictator that ever carried out a pogrom, or a good 'ole ethnic cleansing, or stripped his people of their rights to speech, rights to travel, rights to worship the God of their choice...

You do realize the hilarity of that statement, don't you? Hmmm.. Christian president/Christian agenda....Muslim=bad......Those who will not follow=terrorists....The Patriot act....mail opening....etc., etc., etc.....

I believe this Country is going out of its way to accomodate its Muslim citizens. Not one has been denied his or her religious freedoms. Hell, even those in Gitmo get appropriate dietary consioderation, prayer blankets, Qurans, etc.

But according to you it is happening, so I believe its up to you to do something about it.

unfortunately, our system can only work when the constituents believe in it and allow it to work. when checks and balances are properly maintained there is no problem. its really supposed to keep one rogue branch under control, it doesn't account for widespread mis-use and general apathy to the situation

I think anyone living in this country can see that the reason we are not represented as the American Structure (an actual Representative Government), Is due to the fact that the corporations own our politicians. Its hard to buy votes, when you have to pay back the Companies who bought your seat for you.

If the Lobbyist System was renovated, removing Major Corporation lobbyists and only allowing special interest lobbyists ( I.e. PETA, Naacp, ACLU, NAWU, etc. leave out the money representation and bring in the personal representation. When our politicians don't offer sway for donations, this will resolve the final issue of this system... (LOL I just said Politicians acting like a person, like it was common place... If Only)
