I have sold a couple privately (I even "sold" one here on ATS - thanks Anx!), and gave away a couple to friends and family. I also have a small portfolio on an online gallery, but nothing has ever come from that. I recently got an opportunity to show some stuff in a small gallery, which will hopefully get me some more exposure. (Although I still need to paint a couple for that project.)

Some VERY cool art - you have great talent.

Your talent isn't in painting the picture, perfectly, but painting so the picture is perfect.
