hi, I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier but i didnt know about this topic.

anywho, i'm 12 and in secondary school i became interested in this sort of stuff when we moved to our current house, it used to be a hospital, anyway some nights a light pases through my bedroom window like a normal car driving past on the road but i cant hear the engine, its strange.
and thats why I'm interested in this site

thanks for your time

Hi roswell1 from another new Aussie. Yes I to didn't know about this thread for a few weeks. Good to see a few more youngsters with questions to ask!

As for the light in your room, without knowing were you are I would guess its probably a distant light source like a car on a hill in the distance. This would be a bit like a light house at sea, people often mistake these for UFO's or paranormal activity.

On the other hand you did say it used to be a hospital (I assume a small country type one otherwise it would be a VERY big house!) so it could be a former 'resident' or 'employee'. I have friends who have worked as nurses in Sydney hospitals and they say things like this are quite common but nothing to be worried about. To this day nurses still check on their patients at night with a torch and in the old days a lamp, so maybe its just the spirit of an old nurse seeing if your OK. Like I said nothing to worry about, sort of a guardian angel.

Your best bet is to get hold of a video camera and see if you can record it, this should help eliminate a few possibilities. Usually the simplest explanation is the right one, so I'm sticking to my distant car theory.

If you have any problems or questions check out the help links or talk to a fellow Aussie, there are heaps of us here!! I would be interested to see what you discover, maybe post it up as a thread?

Good luck & welcome to ATS
