Nashville | All Interstates to Airport Temporarily Shut Down...?!

Breaking News as of time of post... on my way home from school today, the radio (all stations) mentioned that all interstates between downtown Nashville and the airport were temporarily closed by T-DOT and the Metro Police... without notice. They had everything buttoned up for about 30 minutes or so... then they opened the lanes back up and have yet to comment on why the hell it happened.

WTF?


Were they trying to sneak something out of the airport?

Will post more as I find out more...

EDIT: Link to TDOT Incident Map - Nothing about this crazy turn of events is mentioned on the site, that I can find... and the only reported incident is up at Vietnam Veteran's Parkway... well North of town, and not on the way to the airport.

BTW - there IS a military presence at Nashville International.
