If the West didn't deal with the fallout of the Soviet Union, then the West is gonna have to deal with terrorists with Nukes.

If memory serves, this isn't the first time that nuclear material's gone missing from Russia. In the collapse of Communisim and the changeover of the government, a lot of things sort of "fell through the cracks."

This should be a good warning for any state that's in trouble -- there's opportunities for thieves and terrorists when the government (ANY sort of government) becomes chaotic.

(and no, the chaos in the wake of the fall of Communism is far greater than the confusion in the US government.)
