The holdout was supposed ot last all season. Instead, both the Patriots and the Seahawks will be better off. Joey Porter remains a malcontent with the Raiders. Will he possibly wind up in New England now? Only time will tell.

The New England Patriots ended the holdout of receiver Deion Branch by trading him to the Seattle Seahawks for a draft pick.

Branch's agent, Jason Chayut, did not immediately return calls, and there was no immediate announcement of what round draft pick the Patriots will receive.

ESPN reported that New England would get a first-round pick in next year's draft.

That's Jerry Porter; Joey Porter is a linebacker for the Steelers.

As for Branch, I think that the Patriots will now miss the playoffs and that the Seahawks will finish with the best record in the AFC West.

Brady is going to miss that option the most but in the end Brady does win football games. The pats will make the playoffs but i dunno if they will go far into this year, definatly don't champions.
