Newz Forum: BOXING: Bustos defeats Kyowa for WBC strawweight title

TOKYO (AP) - Challenger Isaac Bustos of Mexico defeated Japan's Eagle Kyowa Saturday to capture the WBC strawweight title.

Bustos won when Kyowa was unable to continue because of an injured right shoulder 39 seconds into the fourth round

Kyowa, who beat Jose Antonio Aguirre for the title on Jan. 10, was making his second defense of the title.

Bustos improved to 24-6-3 with 6 KOs while Kyowa fell to 13-1-0 with five KOs.
