Mclaren discard David Coulthard today signed a one-year deal to race with the new Red Bull Racing team in the 2005 Formula One season, the APA news
agency reported.
Coulthard, who lost his seat at McLaren to Juan Pablo Montoya at the end of the 2004 season, impressed his new bosses in testing last week.
The 33-year-old has 11 years of F1 racing under his belt having started his career at Williams where he replaced Ayrton Senna after the Brazilian's
death.
Red Bull, the Austrian drinks maker who took over Jaguar in November, will likely name their second driver in January, APA said.
