Teng Haibin of China won the gold medal on pommel horse Sunday night, upsetting three-time world champion Marius Urzica of Romania.
Teng finished with 9.837 points. Urzica, the gold medalist on pommel horse at the Sydney Olympics, won silver with 9.825 points. Takehiro Kashima of
Japan took the bronze with 9.787 points.
American Paul Hamm, who became the first U.S. man to win all-around gold Wednesday in what has now become a disputed finish, failed to add to his
medals collection. He finished sixth in the pommel horse with 9.737 points. He was fifth on floor earlier in the night.
