Athens, Greece - Argentine David Nalbandian withdrew from the Athens Olympics on Sunday because of a thigh injury.
Nalbandian was the sixth seed in the singles draw, and was also scheduled to compete in doubles with Agustin Calleri. The pair will be replaced by
Juan Ignacio Chela and Mariano Zabaleta for Sunday night's match against Igor Andreev and Nikolay Davydenko.
Canadian Frederick Niemeyer replaces Nalbandian in singles, and will face American Taylor Dent in the first round.
