San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs signed veteran forward Tony Massenburg on Wednesday. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Massenburg, 37, was drafted by San Antonio in the second round of the 1990 NBA Draft. The well traveled veteran has had stints with 12 different NBA teams, including Boston, Golden State, the Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto and Philadelphia just to name a few. He has also spent time with clubs in the Italian and Spanish Leagues.

The 37-year-old Massenburg, averaged 4.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 13.4 minutes in 59 games with the Sacramento Kings last season. In 622 career games, Massenburg has averaged 6.5 points to go along with 4.5 rebounds per contest.

The Spurs made another move on Wednesday, re-signing forward Sean Marks, who spent all of last year's regular season on the injured list due to left patella tendinitis.

Marks, who is the first native of New Zealand to play in the NBA, is a member of New Zealand's national team that will compete in the 2004 Olympic Games.

Does that mean that there's no chance that Karl Malone will sign with the Spurs?
